Conclusions:
This study suggests an additive role of astrocyte activation and ventricular remodeling in promoting early
amyloid-´ and tau aggregation. Elevated GFAP and enlarged ventricular volumes may serve as biomarkers for
identifying individuals at risk of rapid disease progression.
